Makes 1.

Ingredients:

  • 4 parts vodka
  • 3 to 5 drops dry vermouth
  • 1/8 tsp lemon juice
  • 4 ice cubes
  • Lemon twist (optional)
  • Olive (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Put 4 parts vodka, 3 to 5 drops dry vermouth and 1/8 tsp lemon juice in a cocktail shaker with 4 ice cubes.
  2. Cover and shake well.
  3. Strain into a chilled martini glass.
  4. Garnish with lemon twist (or not).

Variations:

Vermouth to taste
